We hope you had a great summer, full of fun with your family and friends! We are excited about the start of the school year and we look forward to the activities and programs that are made possible with your help.
As you begin to get settled in the routines of the school season, remember that you have the power to help Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA Swim Team reach the goals and visions for the children.
This unique and very easy program utilizes money that you spend on everyday purchases. By buying the things you need and want with gift cards you from our team, you enable us to raise hundreds of dollars each month!
The process is simple. Think about where you will shop this week-how much will you spend on groceries, gas, clothing, household items, gifts, etc. Then look at the list of retailers available through our scrip program to find the stores where you would normally shop. Order gift cards for the purchases you plan to make anyway, and then use the gift cards to purchase your merchandise.
Because we order the gift cards through United Scrip, we get a percentage of the sales as profit for our team. It is a great way to contribute to CHCYMCA Swim Team without spending extra money on things that you do not necessarily want or need.
Look over the Retailers List and see how you can plan your spending and help us meet our goals. We take orders the first Friday of each month and your gift cards arrive Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. We will be ordering soon, so be watching for an email.

Scripzone.com – New Member Zone Information
Now you can order any time of the day or night!
To begin, log on to http://www.scripzone.com/. Click on “you need to Register here”. Fill out the registration information. ScripZone will immediately email you a password. You To are now ready to begin ordering.
To Place an Order
Log on to http://www.scripzone.com/. Click on the link “Place an order”. A screen will appear asking you to join a group. Type in 919442CHCY and click “Join Group”. Click on the home tab and choose “Place an Order”. CHCYMCA Swim Team will appear and you will click on “Select Group”. A new screen will appear asking you to select a team. You click on the “Select Team” button of your classroom/team/organization. Now the screen appears that allows you to order. You will only need to join a group the first time that you order. You will need to select a team each time you place an order.
To Order Certificates
Choose the certificate category, profit percent, certificate name or ID number and click on “Search Certificate”. OR
Search for certificates alphabetically by scrolling to the bottom of the screen. You will see the letters of the alphabet listed. Click on the beginning letter of the certificate. There may be more than one page of certificates per letter of the alphabet. You will find these page numbers listed under the letter of the alphabet. For example, to order Burger King, you would click on “B” and then “2”.
After locating the certificate, fill in the quantity to be ordered and check the box “Select to Cart”. When all certificates needed on the current page are selected, click “Add to Cart”. The certificates located in your cart will appear and you may choose to “Continue shopping” or “Check out”. When the new screen appears, click “Process Order”. The ordering is complete.
Receiving the Order
The first Friday of each month after 12:00pm, I will compile all of the orders placed the previous week. Please mail your checks made payable to CHCYMCA to the following address: Tammy Samuelson, 403 Lonebrook Drive Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
I will deliver the orders to the YMCA to following Tuesday or Wednesday. NO ORDERS WILL BE RELEASED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED!
