Lori Riegler
Director of Competetive Swimming and Head Coach
Lori has come to us this past January from Ohio and has been involved with swimming and coaching since the age of 9. She has brought a wealth of knowledge about swimming and a level 3 certified swim coach certification. Lori graduated from the University of Toledo where she swam competitively. She has joined us in North Carolina with her husband Steve and her two children Meredith(8) and Joshua(4). Meredith has also joined the age group swimming program and Joshua spends his days at our Carol Woods Children's Center.
Jim Kelly
Head Age Group Coach
Jim grew up in New York with his four brothers and one sister who all swam for the YMCA swim team. He started teaching swim lessons when he was 15 years old and has been doing it ever since. Jim joined the Chapel Hill - Carrboro YMCA Swim Club coaching staff 3 years ago as an assistant. He has coached all of the age groups from the Sand Sharks to the Seniors and is excited to join us full time as our Head Age Group Coach.
